tarot.folkup.life uses only strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

When you log in, you are redirected to our central authentication service (auth.folkup.app). After authentication, your browser receives session cookies that keep you logged in.

These cookies are set only when you log in. If you browse the site without logging in, no authentication cookies are set.

These cookies are set only when Cloudflare’s security system determines it is necessary (e.g., during unusual traffic patterns). Under normal browsing conditions, you may not encounter them at all.
3. Why No Consent Banner
All cookies on this website are strictly necessary for security purposes. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), as transposed into Portuguese law by Article 5 of Lei 41/2004 (as amended by Lei 46/2012), strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the requirement to obtain prior consent.
This is confirmed by the Article 29 Working Party Opinion 04/2012 (WP 194), endorsed by the EDPB, which explicitly lists security cookies as exempt.
Since we have no cookies that require consent, no cookie banner is needed.
4. Cookies We Do NOT Use
For transparency, tarot.folkup.life does not use:
- Analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo, or any other analytics)
- Advertising or remarketing cookies
- Social media cookies or tracking pixels
- Preference or personalisation cookies
- Any third-party cookies for profiling or behavioural targeting
5. Managing Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings:

- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and Website Data

Blocking Cloudflare security cookies may occasionally cause issues if Cloudflare’s bot detection is triggered for your connection.
6. Future Changes
If we add any features that require additional cookies (such as analytics), we will:
- Update this Cookie Policy
- Implement a consent mechanism where required by law
- Revise the “Last Updated” date
